5 Steps to Glowing Skin this Diwali

Diwali is celebrated by over 1 billion people worldwide. Diwali is a time to travel, party, celebrate with family, eat great food and enjoy the festivities. However, this festival of lights and fireworks can affect our skin adversely. The constant exposure to pollution and wearing heavy makeup can clog our pores, leaving our skin dirty, dull and damaged.
To keep our skin healthy and glowing during the festive season, here are 5 steps to glowing skin this Diwali.
Step 1: Drink More Water
If you’ve not been drinking enough water, you need to start now. Drink at least 2 litres of water daily. Water improves the skin’s elasticity which reduces fine lines and makes you look vibrant. It also facilitates the transportation of nutrients to all body cells including the skin giving you a healthy glow.
Step 2: Eat More Fruits and Vegetables
During the festive season, we indulge in sweet foods that are not good for our skin. A healthy diet is important when trying to achieve glowing skin.
